As Executive Producer and Head of Production at Pretty Awesome, Joel leads production and post with a systems first approach. He builds workflows that remove friction, keep teams aligned, and carry creative intent all the way through delivery.

With over 25 years in the industry, Joel has worked across production, agency side post, and independent post production. He has built agency in house post departments, run his own post company, and now spearheads production at Pretty Awesome. That experience gives him a full cycle view of how projects actually move and where they tend to break down.

Starting in this business as an editor, Joel is especially fluent in post production. He oversees editorial, finishing, animation, VFX, and delivery with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and consistency. He assembles the right resources for each project, scaling teams intentionally and keeping the process clean from prep through final output.

His role is simple: protect the work, support the team, and make excellence repeatable, not accidental.
